I’m so excited because I’ve been sneak-previewing the newest innovation by Revision Skincare: BodiFirm – the first medical-grade body product specifically formulated to firm and tighten trouble areas on the body.

Have you also been pulling out all the stops? Here’s what I have tried/have done/am doing (A for Effort, you guys):
- Micro-needling
*maaaybe helped, but if it does, very slowly and pretty minimally for fine skin texture
- Coolsculpting* for fat reduction
*Yes, YES coolsculpting works…for fat reduction. But not for skin-firming/tightening/skin texture/look of cellulite.
- Slathering the backs of my legs in retinol or Retin A, for years
*nothing noticeable, but probably good for preventing crepe-like changes over the long-run.
- Drowning my ‘trouble areas’ in Nectifirm and Nectifirm Advanced
*there have been compelling studies and associated study before/after photos circulating for years, and the science is there for improving the look of the fat just under the skin that can look bulgy. But this is not a super economical use of these products ($$$).

So, if you’re like me and you too are fighting the good fight, you also want to prevent the “caught in a hail storm look”, arm skin that could double as a hang-glider, and/or knees that look like they’re grimacing, judging for all the mistreatment over the years. And, of today, get excited because Revision Skincare has been busy brewing up a more economic, highly-targeted product to use daily, specifically for Body – Or, uh, “Bodi”.

What will it do for you?
According to Revision, BodiFirm has
- Caffeine – to smooth
- The same Melaplex technology used in their most recent brightening Vitamin C+ product, to brighten and even out pigment/darkness in sun-damaged areas
- Bamboo Stem and Patented i-firm technology, (clearly, why ‘Bodi’ vs ‘Body’) which:
- Diminishes the appearance of fat for contouring*
- Firms, lifts, and tightens crepey, sagging skin
- Restores density and elasticity
- Restores hydration
- Supports the skin’s microbiome
*There is limited for mail information available at this point, so I’m not sure about the mechanism of action for the fat appearance reduction… but I’ll be sure to circle back on that when I know more.
How to use:
On trouble areas only, either:
- 1 pump (I’m assuming, 1 pump per ‘trouble area’), once per day
- 1 pump per trouble zone, twice a day
When will you see results?
I was surprised by their clinical data. Results are fast, especially for a topical.
- 4 weeks, using it 2x per day
- 8 weeks, using it 1x per day.
It will be launching in 2 sizes. I understand the 3.8 oz will last 3 months using it 1 time per day.
How I’m using it
I’m currently using my pre-launch, super top secret BodiFirm on:
- The area just above the knees
- The backs of my arms
- The backs and sides of my upper thighs
- Inner thighs
- Stomach
- As an adjunct to get better results from procedures, and protect my investment after.
I’ll likely be investing in the larger 8 oz size, as I plan to embark on a mission to Halo laser my trouble areas this fall, and know it will be a perfect adjunct to get more ‘bang for my treatment buck’ and protect my Halo Body investment.
